Asante' Culverson

McDonough High School Athletic Director, Greg Shook, proudly announced Asante' Culverson as the new head girl's volleyball coach on Thursday, July 14th. Although taking on his first position as a head volleyball coach, Culverson brings a wealth of knowledge of the game to the floor as a  former high school and collegiate player. 

Playing since the age of 13 for A5 South and Tsunami, Culverson's  high school career was spent with Hampton High School. Upon graduation, Culverson received a scholarship to continue  her career at the University of North Georgia. At the completion of her freshman season, Culverson transferred to Albany State University to complete her remaining eligibility and  obtain her degree.

Fun Fact About Culverson - Coach Culverson was by her mother, Fay Culverson, when playing at Hampton High School. Coach Culverson's mother Fay now will sever as the varsity assistant under her daughter. 

Coach Culverson will be serving in the Science Department here at McDonough High School.
